With up to 550 units planned, the fund combines housing accessibility with sustainability initiatives, including renewable energy and water management.
Investors can choose between Equity Units offering a 6-year term with annual returns of 3% and a final potential distribution of up to 7.25%, or Fixed Term Notes providing a 5-year term with 5.65% annual returns. Both options require a minimum investment of $15,000.

Acting as both fund manager and developer, it offers diverse housing solutions, including manufactured home communities, workforce housing, and multi-family units. Managing multiple funds, including FRIF II, it is expanding its impact with the launch of Flight2Safety Initiatives, a nonprofit addressing social and environmental housing challenges.

Dr. Canaan Van Williams
Founder and CEO
The ProActive Realty Group team is led by Dr. Williams, who has over 22 years of active experience in real estate investment and management. To date, Mr. Williams has been involved in buying, selling, and repositioning over $30 million in commercial multifamily and residential real estate. Dr. Williams earned a PhD in Psychology from Madison University. He is a Certified Private Equity Professional and member of the Private Equity Association.
Michael Zajas
Managing Director
Michael Zajas is a real estate investments and acquisitions leader with experience in sourcing, underwriting, developing investment strategy, fund creation and management, investor relations, capital raising and portfolio optimization. In the last six years Mr. Zajas worked as a principal with startup ventures or projects to become capitalized, create investment strategies and execute on plans.
Anthony Lawrence
Director of Operations
Tony Lawrence is a multidisciplinary professional, driven by a commitment to give back through domestic and global philanthropy, including service trips to Africa, Honduras, Mexico, and impoverished areas in America. As the Director of Operations, Tony ensures smooth operations through system, process, security, and technology optimization while leading creative marketing efforts to maintain brand and message cohesion.

Jesse is a passionate strategist and builder with over 20 years of experience dedicated to uncovering innovative solutions to complex problems. Prior to ProActive, Jesse launched an M&A advisory firm in East Africa supporting global investors as well as spent a decade in management consulting. At ProActice, Jesse helps manage investor discussions, identifies strategic initiatives, and supports ProActive’s mission to transform lives and society for good.
